Eligibility
For B.Tech: Top 20 percentile or minimum 75% marks in Class 12 board examinations (65% for SC/ST), along with a valid JEE Main score.

Admission is based entirely on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main.

Tuition Fee
100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/PwD. General/OBC EWS students with family income < 1 LPA get a full waiver; income between 1 to 5 LPA get a 2/3rd waiver.

Admissions
No. Admissions to all B.Tech programs at NIT AP are handled exclusively via JEE Main ranks through JoSAA and CSAB counselling processes.
Under standard NIT guidelines, 50% of the total seats are reserved for students who completed their qualifying exam within Andhra Pradesh (Home State quota), with the remaining 50% open to the Other State (OS) category pool.
Placements
