Partly. Pharmacy admissions often run later than other courses because PCI approvals and state counselling rounds can stretch into October, so some PCI-approved private colleges may still have B.Pharma or D.Pharma seats. Confirm the college’s PCI approval for 2026–27 before paying anything.
There is no single deadline. Private pharmacy colleges admit until seats fill, and many intakes close between September and October 2026. State pharmacy counselling for government colleges follows its own fixed calendar.
Yes. Unlike MBBS and BDS, B.Pharma and D.Pharma do not require NEET at most private colleges. Admission is on Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics (PCB or PCM) marks.

For Pharmacy 2026 admissions, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) regulates all pharmacy education. B.Pharma (4-year degree) and D.Pharma (2-year diploma) are the two main pharmacy programmes for students after Class 12. Private PCI-approved pharmacy colleges offer direct admission based on 12th PCB or PCM marks — no NEET, no state pharmacy entrance test required at most private institutions.
The key thing to verify before pharmacy admission is PCI approval. A degree from a non-PCI-approved institution will not allow you to register as a pharmacist or get a government pharmacy job.
