Eligibility
For B.Tech: Top 20 percentile in class 12th board exams or minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST), plus a valid JEE Main score.
Selection Process
Merit-based admission determined purely by the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main.
Fees & Financing
Tuition Fee
100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/PwD. General/OBC EWS students with family income < 1 LPA get a full tuition waiver; income between 1-5 LPA get a 2/3rd waiver (As per MHRD rules).
Exam Fee
Semester examination, library, and student amenities fees are included in the overall registration bill.

No. Like all NITs, admissions to the B.Tech programs are based strictly on JEE Main ranks, followed by JoSAA/CSAB counselling.
Under the standard NIT admission policy, 50% of the seats at NIT Calicut are reserved for students who completed their Class 12 education in Kerala (Home State quota), while the remaining 50% are for the Other State (OS) pool.
