NIT Calicut: Courses, Fees, Admission, Cutoff & Placements

Admission to NIT Calicut depends on the programme selected by the applicant. For B.Tech courses, candidates are required to qualify through JEE Main and participate in the JoSAA counselling process. Eligible seats remaining vacant after regular counselling may be considered through CSAB special rounds. B.Arch admission follows the applicable entrance examination and counselling requirements, while postgraduate programmes have their own selection procedures involving examinations such as GATE, JAM, CAT or other programme-specific criteria. Candidates should check the official admission notice for eligibility, documents, deadlines and reporting instructions before applying.

Eligibility requirements at NIT Calicut vary according to the course and admission category. B.Tech applicants generally need to satisfy the prescribed Class 12 subject and performance requirements along with a valid JEE Main result. Architecture applicants must meet the relevant academic and entrance examination conditions. For postgraduate courses, eligibility may depend on the candidate's undergraduate degree, qualifying examination score, and programme-specific requirements. Since admission rules can be revised, applicants should refer to the latest official information rather than relying exclusively on previous-year criteria.
