Tuition Fee
100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/PwD students. General/OBC students with family income < 1 LPA get a full waiver; family income between 1 to 5 LPA get a 2/3rd waiver (As per standard NIT rules).

No. Like all NITs, admissions to the B.Tech and B.Arch programs are based solely on JEE Main ranks, followed by JoSAA and CSAB counselling.
Under the standard NIT admission policy, 50% of the seats at NIT Hamirpur are reserved for students who completed their Class 12 education in Himachal Pradesh (Home State quota), while the remaining 50% are for the Other State (OS) pool.
