NIT Uttarakhand: Courses, Fees, Admission, Cutoff & Placements

Admission to NIT Uttarakhand depends on the programme selected and the eligibility requirements prescribed for that course. For B.Tech admission, candidates must qualify for JEE Main and participate in the JoSAA or CSAB counselling process. Seat allocation is based on factors such as entrance rank, category, seat availability and the preferences submitted during counselling. Applicants should also meet the academic eligibility conditions applicable to their admission year. For M.Tech programmes, admission is generally conducted through CCMT counselling using a valid GATE score. M.Sc. admissions are handled through CCMN, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions and seat availability. Ph.D. applicants may be required to undergo a written test and interview, depending on their qualifications and the institute's selection guidelines. Since admission procedures and deadlines can change, students should consult the official NIT Uttarakhand website for the latest notifications before applying.

The total cost of studying at NIT Uttarakhand varies according to the programme, academic session, and applicable fee category.
