Eligibility
For B.Tech: Top 20 percentile or minimum 75% marks in Class 12 board examinations (65% for SC/ST), along with a valid JEE Main score.
Selection Process
Admission is based entirely on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main.

Tuition Fee
100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/PwD. General/OBC EWS students with family income < 1 LPA get a full waiver; income between 1 to 5 LPA get a 2/3rd waiver.

No. Similar to all NITs, undergraduate admissions to the B.Tech programs at SVNIT Surat are based exclusively on JEE Main ranks through JoSAA and CSAB counselling processes.
Under standard NIT guidelines, 50% of the total seats are reserved for students who completed their qualifying exam within Gujarat (Home State quota), with the remaining 50% open to the Other State (OS) category pool.
