I passed Class 12 in 2022 — still eligible?
Yes. No restriction on Class 12 passing year. 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 passouts all fully eligible for NEET 2026.
I appeared for NEET 3 times before — can I try again?
Yes. No attempt limit for NEET UG as of 2026. You can appear every year with no restriction.
I am 35 years old — am I eligible?
Yes. There is no upper age limit since the Supreme Court ruling in 2023. Any age above 17 is fully eligible.
I have PCM in Class 12 without Biology — can I apply?
Not directly. You need Biology/Biotechnology. If your board allows an additional subject exam for Biology, appear and pass that — then you are eligible.
I have a BSc Biology degree but no Class 12 PCB — eligible?
No. NEET eligibility requires Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology specifically. BSc does not substitute for Class 12 PCB.
I am an NRI — can I appear for NEET and get a government seat?
Yes to NEET. But government state quota (85%) is only for domicile holders. NRI/OCI can apply for 15% AIQ NRI quota and NRI/Management quota in private colleges.
I have 48% in PCB in General category — eligible?
No. General/EWS minimum is 50% in PCB aggregate. You need to improve to at least 50% to become eligible.

MYTH: "There is an upper age limit of 25 years for NEET"
FALSE. Upper age limit was removed by the Supreme Court in 2023. No maximum age for NEET UG.
